Mojang settles with Bethesda

This isn’t exactly breaking news, but just so everyone knows, the legal dispute between Mojang and Bethesda has been all cleared up. For those of you just tuning into this topic, Bethesda was going to sue Mojang for their use of the word ‘scrolls’ in their new game ‘scrolls. It all started when Mojang applied for a copyright for the game title, and Bethesda found fault in it, in that they felt that since they owned a copyright to ‘the elder scrolls’ they owned every word in that copyright as well. Anyway, on with the news, the claim has been settled. Mojang will be allowed to use the word scrolls.

But now that they have kissed and made up, they are using their time more wisely (namely, Bethesda, because Mojang always does stuff like this). The two will be playing Team Fortress 2 together to raise funds for the charity, Child’s play. This even will hopefully get a lot of attention, so those kids will be getting a lot of money to do things that they otherwise would not have been able to do. If you would like to know more about this event, or if you would like to donate money for this event, you can do so by clicking on the link that is provided right here.

So, what do you think?
