Sand and Snowstorms

So I’m sure we all know that snow edits the height of the ground once it falls from the sky if you edit Snow’s id (The on ground snow, not snow block). Mojang could do something with this. I don’t know if it’s been said before, I’ve not been able to find anything like it, but here it is Snowstorms and Sandstorms would randomly occur, and as the snow continues the “Snow” would gradually increase in ID value. Eventually becoming a snow block. Or a Sand block if sand.

When walking the snow (Ground snow) and Sand (Similar ground sand) would be broken similar to how you jump and break farmland. This is so Villages (Villagers) can clean and not be suffocated. This could allow Sand and glass becoming a renewable resource.

So to recap: Sand and Snow build up when “Storming”.Eventually become full “Sand” and “Snow” blocks. Allows renewable glass and sand. Provides use for snow’s ID values. If you like, send this to Notch, and see if Mojang will add this into Vanilla.

Mojang needs to add this. one problem: unloaded chunks won’t get the precipitation so the thicker layers will spontaneously cut off as you explore. If they could fix this one issue, this would be perfect!
