Rock’em Sock’em!

Do you guys remember those toys that let kids play as robots beating each other up that resurface into population every few years? You know, Rock’em Sock’em Robots? Oh, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. In fact, I’m sure you had a copy of your own to entertain you for minutes at a time until you became bored and started to break the robots and throw them at each other.

Well, since you are reading this site, you most certainly also know about Minecraft. We are willing to bet that you also know about the general theme of the Minecraft build community to blend things in popular geek culture (such as Skyrim and Zelda) into Minecraft. In the long line of things to be merged into Minecraft, we bring you, Minecraft Rock’em Sock’em Robots!

The game takes advantage of pressure plate mechanics to simulate the truly engaging fights of the original game. Just like the original, there are two robots, one red and one blue, fighting each other. And even more interesting, they are just as block y as the original! We dare say this is the most accurate adaption of any game created thus far.

If anyone would like to download their own copy of this game, there is a link in the description of this video:

So, what do you think?
